  • SINCE I HAVE BEEN SO OUT OF BLOGGING, AND SINCE MY BRAIN SEEMS A BIT EMPTY ON WHAT TO SAY, I FOUND THIS ON SOMEONES XANGA AND DECIDED TO CHECK IT OUT AS IT LOOKS PRETTY DARN INTERESTING. 


    Internet Island Topic Post #16.00: "Secrets, Confessions, Opinions, and Comfort"


    16.01: Secrets


    A lot of secrets are shattered in the blogging community, thanks to the relative anonymity of the process. Since we can be anything we want to be in cyberspace, it is a perfect place to share secrets great and small. Have you ever shared a secret with your internet brethern, or would you like to do so now?

    I AM REALLY NOT A VERY SECRETIVE PERSON, IN FACT SOME WOULD SAY I TEND TO LET ALL SPILL AT ANY TIME.  I AM NOT SAYING I AM NOT A GOOD SECRET KEEPER WHEN IT COMES TO SOMEONE ELSE, BUT AS FAR AS MYSELF, I AM A OPEN BOOK, ASK ME ANYTHING, I WILL PRETTY MUCH TELL YA.  SO DO I KEEP SECRETS ABOUT MYSELF?  ACTUALLY THE SECRETS I KEEP ARE NOT SECRETS I KEEP FROM EVERYONE, BUT ONLY SOME PEOPLE, LIKE MY MOTHER.  I HAVE FELT SO JUDGED BY MY PARENTS OVER THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS THAT I DO NOT TELL THEM ANYTHING ABOUT ME AND KEEP EVERYTHING AWAY FROM THEM.  FOR INSTANCE, MY MOM WOULD NAG ME ALL THE TIME IF SHE KNEW THAT I SMOKED, THEREFORE, I DARE NOT SMOKE AROUND HER, SMOKE BEFORE I SEE HER, AND I ALWAYS MAKE DAMN SURE THAT IF I AM GOING AROUND HER I HAVE ON CLEAN UNSMOKED CLOTHES.  THAT WOMAN HAS A NOSE LIKE A CAT, SHE CAN SNIFF OUT A RAT REALLY FAST.  SO ANYWAY, AS FAR AS SECRETS GO, I AM NOT A SECRETIVE PERSON, THAT IS UNLESS YOU ARE MY MOM!!!  WHAT SECRETS DO YOU KEEP AND WHY?  DO YOU DARE TELL?

  • lol...been there, done that on the smoking! I think all of us have some secret or secrets that will never be shared with anyone....I am an open book, but I do have a couple of things that I will never ever share.....

  • I think we all keep secrets or lay low from certain people who constantly drive us nutty.  I just might have a secret or two but they're going to the grave with me.
