  • FROM THE Kween of the
    Kweens
    COMES A NEW CHALLENGE

    “HONORING YOUR QUEENS AND LORDS”

    (Challenge 10 2006)

We all know we love to be appreciated or recognized rather

Our jobs, at home what have you right?

Well I have decided we need to appreciate each other as queens

And Lords of such a lovely blogring…

I have noticed that a lot of us are on each others subscriptions

    List as well…

So I am going to suggest to pick a minimum of 5 Queens and or Lords

And a maximum of how ever many you would like to do,

But basically we are going to appreciate or recognize the Queens and

    Lords we choose.

I won’t put a limit on how many you would like

    To recognize or appreciate…

Next to their name make a comment of why they’re special to you

On your subscriptions list or why you enjoy going to their page.

WHAT IS THERE NOT TO SAY ABOUT KOFFEEKWEEN....
SHE IS A AWESOME PERSON.  I HAVE BEEN READING HER FOR A MARJORITY OF MY
TIME ON XANGA AND SHE HAS ALWAYS BEEN A GREAT INSPIRATIONAL PERSON.  I
JUST LOVE THE GEORGE CARLIN QUOTES DAILY.

WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT STASH,
IF IT WERENT FOR HER, I WOULDNT BE HERE ON XANGA TODAY.  I STARTED
READING HER XANGA AND FINALLY AFTER SOME TIME OF SNOOPING AROUND ON
HERS, I COULDNT HELP BUT JUMP IN AND MAKE MY OWN XANGA!!!

WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT TIFF,
SHE HAS THE HUMOR, WHILE AT THE SAME TIME BEING SERIOUS AND
OPINIONATED, WHO READS MORE THAN ANYONE I KNOW!!!  ONE OF THESE DAYS I
WILL HAVE TO GO BACK AND GO THROUGH HER READING LIST TO FIND THE ONES
    THAT CAUGHT MY EYE.

LOVE THE BEACH, THEN YOU WILL LOVE ENDLESSSUMMER128.
EVERYTIME I GO TO HER SITE, I WISH MORE AND MORE I WAS NEAR THE OCEAN
WITH HER TRIPS TO THE BEACH AND THE AWESOME BEACHY BACKGROUND.  I
SOMETIMES FEEL I CAN HEAR THE OCEAN ROAR AS I READ HER POSTS!!

    TO
A GREAT SINGLE MOTHER, WHO NOT LONG AFTER I STARTED READING HER, WAS
LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE FOUND HER SOUL MATE AND NOW IS LIVING HAPPILY EVER
    AFTER.
MYBOBBERS, THANKS FOR THE PICTURES THAT MAKE ME FEEL AS IF I WAS THERE!!!

I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT I FORGOT ABOUT CNDFRND, ACTUALLY I DIDNT, JUST DIDNT REALIZE THAT SHE WAS ALSO A PART OF THE KWEEN OF KWEENS, BUT ANYWAY, SHE IS THE ONE THAT HAS GIVEN ME THE INSPIRATION TO TRY TO WRITE, NOT THAT I DO A LOT OF WRITING, BUT I FEEL THAT SHE BRINGS THE CREATIVITY OUT IN ME!!

  • Ah honey, no, I am NOT angry w/ you!  I just don't get around to everyone like I should (just ask them!)  I fall behind so much that I'm not surprised that my comments have dropped off!  I just don't seem to have the time to get around to everyone each day!  I'm trying to get better organized with my life via FlyLady.net. . .and I'm doing well, just baby steps at a time!  I'm glad you're back with us. . .I know you were going through some rough times for the past year. . .I don't get mad easily anyway. . .it would take a whole lot more than you not posting to get me angry!  Know that I'll make more of an effort to get by to visit!  Hugs~K.K.

  • RYN:  Things are getting better.  I have some nerve damage in my left knee, but it may not be permanent.  I won't know for a while though so *shrugs*.  I still haven't gotten a car.  I (and my parents) can't afford to get one yet.  Maybe in December or so.

  • RYN:  The Brickyard 400.  NASCAR race .  I love it!

  • There is a fantastic waterfall south of Atlanta. I can't remember where you are but . . . if you want the info I can send it but I guess you know how to search for it. In my book, you are pretty awesome. Your blog is super duper with all of the graphics and such. I know you work, out the home the last I remember and that you usually seem to be pretty optimistic. So you are one awesome Queen. Oh, and you are awesome because you read my posts every once in a while. Like the new profile pic too

  • You did a great job with this challenge.  I have come across the subs you mentioned and enjoyed several of them a lot too!  They will all feel pretty special after reading your post.

    *looking around

    *Smiling* *blink-blink*  *Smiling*

  • Thanks for sharing about Susan Butcher. I knew I had heard much about her lately, and kind of remember hearing she was sick. So sad...
    Thanks for dropping by.
    Hugs, Tricia

  • I'm glad I inspired you to set up your own xanga.

  • Amen sister!!

  • I read some of those same subs. Others I have seen mentioned several times now and plan to go check them out. Good job honoring your favorite blogs.

RYC: I hope so! The hormones are killing me (at the very least - they are driving my family and myself crazy!)

  • yup... lots of great people on xanga.

  • Saw the news on Susan Butcher this morning. What a special Woman... i.e., human being! This is a special site. I come here to find out what is what.

  • Thanks for your comment on the cat videos. I hope to see your dogs messing about some day!

  • What a nice post!

  • Dear Poqueatl,

(Well, now I don't have to check the spelling at least) Just popped in to answer an RYC. Since I'm commenting on this entry, however, I will meniton that I hope you find just as neat folks on the Island blogring as you have with the Kween of The Kweens. KoffeeKween was an Island member for a while, until she found that she couldn't participate and run her own blogring. I visit her site from time to time.

RYC: My topics for the Internet Island occur every two weeks. I usually ask that people sub to my site so that they can insure they get updates in their email. If you regularly visit, you will see the entry on my page, and also linked from the top of my blog. Since the current entry  (#16) was put up on July 30, start looking for the new one on or about the 12th or 13th of August. 1st and 15th is a good rule, but I don't follow rules, and sometimes it takes me a while to come up with topics and not repeat myself or any of the other blogrings to which I belong. Just remember to add your links to the comments of the current Topic Post so that I and other Islanders will see them. Usually I will put the link at the top of my blog, later entries first, as soon as I see that someone has added an entry.
