Dear Pogue,
I know that you have always been stubborn, never falling to defeat, but that is just the redhead in your. Should you run across certain crossroads this is what you should do. Stay awake during class in high school and finish with good grades and go to college (1 year at the most taken off, then get in there and do it). Keep out of relationships, only date around, until you have successfully completed college and made a decision on careers. Become stable within yourself, not depending on anyone else to help you and run with it as fast as you can. After you are happy within yourself, then you should allow someone else in to share in your happiness and whatever you do, make sure that person is also happy within themselves too and self reliant upon themselves so that you can become equal partners in a union that can withstand all eternity.

The video wouldn't work for me. . .probably just my puter. Your letter, so strong and poingent! I wish we had all listened to that advice. . find ourselves FIRST! So often young women think that they need a guy to make them happy when after all, the only happiness we really have is that with which we allow ourselves to have. . .someone else can't MAKE us happy. . .Hugs and thanks for participating!~Kween
That advice is wonderful but really, would we have listened to it if our older selves came and told us? I know I wouldn't. I'm so glad I'm not a teenager anymore. LOL
I always tell my L... he hits you it's the first and only. I'll have to tell her to bury him next. LOL

Wonderful letter! I always told my hubby that he would only hit me once, cause he has to sleep sometime and I would be there. -- Not that he ever would, he's too sweet. LOVED the video! Too funny! Crazy dog.
This letter was great, I think all young woman should hear this advice and adhere to it. Because this way they have no doubts in there lives, well they will, but they have seattled their lives first, boy hope that sounds right..lol

great letter, and I love the post script at the end...it's so true
. Hope all is well with you. I was actually able to watch Days today, but spent most of the time trying to explain everything to my roommate b/c she doesn't watch the show. She made comments throughout the whole show so I didn't get to relax and watch it. However, I'm disappointed that even though the secret came out about claire nothing's happening right away.

Find yourself and your happiness first... great advice. Because we can't really love someone else if we don't love ourselves.
